“Manifest” Season 1 Episode 6 provides viewers with an interesting experience that delves deeper into the mysteries of the events that have transpired. The episode starts off with Cal (Jack Messina) contracting a severe fever that allows him to form a psychic connection with some missing passengers. Events then quickly unravel to include illegal experiments and secret government operations.
As CarterMatt notes in its coverage of “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 6, it would seem that the government is not the boogeyman haunting this particular show, after all. At least, it’s not the bad guy this time around since it would appear that government agents are also tracking them down. Illegal experiments also became a part of the episode’s theme and this is what Carl is connected to.
Specifically, he connected to a Bulgarian passenger who is being experimented on for unknown reasons. This proves to be a harrowing experience for the child and triggers painful reminders for his parents. Specifically, it reminded Grace (Athena Karkanis) of what she went through when Cal had cancer and this gave viewers a glimpse into how she dealt with it, at the time.
Cal is eventually saved from the experience when those conducting the illegal experiments on the Bulgarian realized that they have been discovered. This then forced them to pack up, TVLine reports, thus breaking the psychic connection. It seems that “Manifest” Season 1 Episode 6 will not see the last of these questionable tests, however, with one of the scientists assuring that they’ll be at it again.
“Manifest” Season 1 Episode 6 can still be viewed by fans who might have missed the episode. The show also airs every Monday night on NBC. For fans who want to watch each episode live over the internet, they can check out the option to do so via NBC’s live-streaming service.
