“The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 6 promises a lot of changes for the remaining characters of the show. Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) will find themselves on different sides with regards to the fate of a new group of survivors. The sword-wielding fighter is not very welcoming, while the latter pair believes that opening their doors is necessary.
As UndeadWalking notes, “The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 6 will see how the world of the show functions without Rick Grimes in it. The episode also features a time jump worth six years. As the episode’s synopsis also implies, this segment will be about deciding the fate of a new group that made contact with Alexandria.
“The Survivors encounter unfamiliar faces outside the safety of their community’s walls and must decide whether or not this new group can be trusted,” the synopsis reads.
It has already been mentioned that Michonne is against this idea and this stems from the mistrust that she has fostered over numerous experiences of betrayal. The result is a jaded warrior who sees enemies in every corner. In contrast, Rosita and Gabriel are more open to the idea of letting the group in. This is the central source of conflict in “The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 6.
Unfortunately, the show has already proven how dangerous it can be to be too welcoming of strangers. Gabriel’s desire to reach out to more survivors will prove to be particularly harmful since it will put them in contact with this season’s central antagonists, BleedCool reports. “The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 6 might hint at this.
“The Walking Dead” Season 9 Episode 6 is scheduled to air on Nov. 11. Fans of the series will likely find this particular installment to be an interesting one.
